ANNIVERSARY MEETING

It was a rainy turning to freezing rain evening for the meeting, but twelve of us made it to our anniversary celebration dinner meeting.  Everyone had a choice of either bring a dessert or a salad to share.

Rose passed out a list of all our charity projects for 2010.  We were all amazed by the amount of work we had done for our community. 

17 flannel baby blankets

queen size habitat quilt

51 pillowcases

86 military cool collars

quilt and pillowcase for DogGone organization

7 small quilts

plus an extra queen quilt

Our group is now a member of the Million Pillowcase Challenge

We received a letter from Miami Co. Family Abuse Shelter praising us for our generous donations to the shelter.

Suggestions of possible recipients' for this coming years projects

a.  pillowcases for persons in nursing homes

b.  quilted lap robes for the VA

Any other suggestions are welcomed.

MARCH MEETING - SEW PILLOWCASES.  Bring material and machines.  (27" for body of case and 12" for cuff of case.  We will also continue working on the 5" square throws.

APRIL MEETING - Bring sergers, fleece to make lap robes for VA

MAY MEETING - Old Fashion Days in Arcanum
